Monday Night NFL Intel
Chicago is without Caleb Williams tonight, and 38-year-old Case Keenum is expected to start. Per CBS Sports, Keenum hasn't played a regular-season game since 2023, which puts even more on a Bears run game averaging 212.5 rushing yards a game this season. The model likes both D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai to get their carries. On the other side, Saquon Barkley has been sharing Philadelphia's backfield, and the model has his rushing yards under. The Eagles are 3.5-point favorites with the total at 41.5.

Monangai is getting 10 carries a game in 2026 and doing plenty with them: 147 yards on 20 carries, 7.3 a carry. With a backup quarterback under center, Chicago has every reason to keep both backs busy. The model notes Philadelphia keeps just 6.3 men in the box, 3rd-softest by its measure, and projects 9.9 carries against a 9.5 line.
Swift leads the Bears with 17 carries a game in 2026, already above this line, along with 169 rushing yards and three touchdowns. The model has him handling 53% of Chicago's red-zone carries against its 45% baseline. Philadelphia has allowed 127 rushing yards a game through two games, 8th-most in the league, and the model projects 15.1 carries.
Barkley has 92 rushing yards on 19 carries through two games in 2026, 46 yards a game, with Tank Bigsby (14 carries) and Will Shipley (9) taking a share of the work. That's down from 17.5 carries a game last season. Chicago has allowed 4.9 yards a carry so far, so this one is about volume, and the model also sees a heavy Bears front, 7.0 men in the box on average (the most by its measure). The Bears held him to 56 yards last season, and the model projects 67.4.
Philadelphia is 2-0 after two close wins, 24-22 over Washington and 24-20 at Tennessee. Chicago split its first two, winning 59-37 at Carolina before a 9-3 loss to Minnesota. Last November, the Bears ran for 281 yards in a 24-15 win at Philadelphia. The Eagles are without Dallas Goedert (knee), Hollywood Brown (ankle), and guard Landon Dickerson, with Jonathan Greenard questionable; Chicago is missing defensive backs Coby Bryant and Kyler Gordon. Kickoff is 8:15 PM ET at Soldier Field on ABC.
